Goodstart Pialba

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Pialba is located in Hervey Bay on a main road which makes it easily visible and accessible. We are close to local schools and shops as well as residential areas - making us convenient for the daily drop-off and pick-up.

Ours is a long established centre, and many of the very dedicated educators have been with the centre for many years.

Our Hervey Bay child care centre is well equipped, with a large range of educational and age appropriate equipment.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.

We have beautiful naturally shaded outdoor play areas with a balance of active and passive environments. The building and facilities - both internally and externally - have been refurbished to reveal a bright, colourful and welcoming child care centre.

Our centre vision is that together we recognise each child is unique and will provide a nurturing environment to create the best outcomes for children, families and our communities.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.

Art and music experiences - as well as other extra-curricular activities - are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
